Ingredients

  • 1 cup jumbo lump crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 4 tablespoons French dressing

Instructions

  1. Let all ingredients come to room temperature.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix crab meat, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, mayonnaise, horseradish, and French dressing until well combined.
  3. For hot dip, preheat oven to 350°F, transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish, and bake for 20–30 minutes until bubbling and golden.
  4. For cold dip, refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours before serving.
  5. Serve with toasted baguette slices, crostinis, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

  • Use full-fat dairy products to prevent the dip from becoming greasy.
  • Do not overbake to maintain a creamy texture.
  • Stir well before serving if any oil separates.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Best served fresh, but can be made ahead of time and reheated gently.
