Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz) bag fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and orange zest in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Use the back of a spoon to help burst any whole cranberries.
  5. Cook until thickened and jammy in texture.
  6. For a smoother texture, allow the mixture to cool slightly and blend or strain if desired.
  7. Transfer to a clean glass jar and refrigerate.
