Ingredients

  • 1.5 to 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 16 oz Olive Garden Italian dressing (or any zesty Italian dressing)
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 8 oz cream cheese (1 block)
  • 16 oz penne pasta, cooked and drained

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken evenly.
  3. Sprinkle with black pepper and parmesan cheese.
  4. Add the cream cheese block on top.
  5. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 5-6 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  7. While the chicken is finishing, cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  8. Drain the pasta and stir it into the slow cooker with the chicken and sauce.
  9. Mix well and top with additional parmesan if desired.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite sides or store leftovers for later.
