Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook and crumble the sausage in a skillet, then drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese until evenly mixed.
  4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to make smaller triangles.
  5. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly.
  6. Place rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • Let cream cheese come to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • Use parchment or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 3–4 days in an airtight container.
  • Freeze baked rolls for up to 3 months and reheat in the oven.
  • Add jalapeños or shredded cheese for flavor variations.
