Ingredients

  • 5 cups chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 3 tablespoons pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (optional for tang)
  • Optional: 1 avocado sliced, 6 slices bacon cooked, jalapeños, fried eggs

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add ground beef.
  2. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Drain excess grease if needed and set aside.
  5. Chop lettuce and prepare all vegetables.
  6. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, and vinegar to make the sauce.
  7. Divide lettuce into serving bowls.
  8. Add warm ground beef on top of the lettuce.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef so it slightly melts.
  10. Add tomatoes, onions, pickles, and optional toppings.
  11. Drizzle burger sauce over each bowl.
  12. Serve immediately and enjoy.
