Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans or bottles of cream soda (chilled)
  • 2 tablespoons butterscotch syrup (more for drizzle)
  • 2 teaspoons butter extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Pour chilled cream soda into large mugs or glasses, filling about ¾ of the way.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of butterscotch syrup to each glass.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon of butter extract to each glass.
  4. Gently whisk the ingredients in each glass until fully mixed.
  5. Top with whipped cream and drizzle more butterscotch syrup if desired.

Notes

  • Use bottled cream soda for a richer flavor.
  • Substitute caramel syrup if you don’t have butterscotch.
  • Make it dairy-free by using plant-based whipped topping.
  • For a frozen version, blend the ingredients with ice until slushy.
  • To make it alcoholic, add vanilla vodka, butterscotch schnapps, or bourbon.
