Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time.
  5. Mix in vanilla and almond extract.
  6. Add sour cream or milk.
  7. Stir in dry ingredients gently.
  8. Toss cherries with flour.
  9. Fold cherries into batter.
  10. Spread into loaf pan.
  11. Bake 50 to 60 minutes.
  12. Cool completely before glazing or slicing.
