Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz chocolate (8 squares, cut in half)

  • 1 egg + 1 teaspoon water (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling
  • Vanilla Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Cut each puff pastry sheet into 8 equal squares.
  4. Add a spoonful of cream cheese mixture, a few raspberries, and half a square of chocolate to the center of each square.
  5. Brush the edges with egg wash and fold into triangles. Press edges with a fork to seal.
  6. Brush tops with more egg wash and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and flaky.
  7. Cool for 5–10 minutes.
  8. Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth, drizzle over turnovers, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  9. Serve warm or store properly for later.
