Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs white almond bark (broken or chopped)
  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 oz German sweet chocolate (broken or chopped)
  • 32 oz dry roasted or cocktail peanuts
  • Holiday sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker insert lightly with non-stick spray if desired.
  2. Add the chopped almond bark, semisweet chocolate chips, and German sweet chocolate to the slow cooker.
  3. Place a clean, dry kitchen towel over the top of the slow cooker and then place the lid over it.
  4. Cook on HIGH for 1 hour, stirring every 15–20 minutes.
  5. After 1 hour, reduce the heat to LOW and continue cooking for 30–60 minutes, stirring until completely melted.
  6. Carefully remove the lid and towel to avoid condensation dripping into the chocolate.
  7. Add the peanuts and stir to coat evenly in chocolate.
  8. Line baking sheets with wax or parchment paper and drop spoonfuls of the candy mixture onto the sheets.
  9. Immediately top with holiday sprinkles if using.
  10. Let the candies set at room temperature or refrigerate for 30–60 minutes until firm.
  11. Store in airtight containers in a cool place.

Notes

  • Use a towel under the lid to prevent condensation from ruining the chocolate.
  • Stir frequently to avoid burning or uneven melting.
  • Use roasted nuts only—raw nuts won’t provide the right crunch or flavor.
  • Customize with different nuts, sprinkles, or add-ins like crushed pretzels or dried fruit.
  • Let candy set before packaging to avoid sticking.
