Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1/2 medium ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder or chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Peel and mash the banana until mostly smooth.
  2. Add rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, mashed banana, peanut butter, cocoa powder or chocolate chips, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and salt to a jar or bowl.
  3. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined and the peanut butter is fully incorporated.
  4. Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, stir the oats and adjust consistency with additional milk if needed.
  6. Serve cold or gently warmed, as desired.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas with a few brown spots for best sweetness.
  • Natural peanut butter works best for smooth blending.
  • Cocoa powder creates deep chocolate flavor without extra sugar.
  • Store overnight oats in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
