  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add pineapple chunks, chopped onion, and minced garlic over the chicken.
  3. Pour barbecue sauce and chicken broth on top.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  5. Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove it from the crockpot.
  6. Shred the chicken using two forks.
  7. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir it into the sauce.
  8. Cook for another 10 minutes so the flavors combine.
