4 salmon fillets
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey or brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey or brown sugar, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and vinegar until combined.
Place salmon in a dish and pour half the sauce over it. Marinate for 20–30 minutes.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook salmon for 4–5 minutes on one side until golden.
Flip and cook for another 3–4 minutes.
Add remaining sauce to the pan and let it simmer until thickened.
Spoon glaze over salmon until fully coated.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
Do not overcook salmon to keep it tender and juicy.
Let the sauce reduce to achieve a sticky glaze.
Adjust spice level by modifying red pepper flakes.
Use fresh or fully thawed salmon for best results.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions for extra flavor.
