Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 medium red onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 small zucchini, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into evenly sized 1-inch cubes and place them in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, paprika, and onion powder to create a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the steak cubes and toss until the meat is fully coated.
  4. Cover and let the steak marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. Thread the marinated steak cubes onto skewers, alternating with bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, and zucchini.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat around 400°F.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 8–12 minutes, turning every few minutes so all sides cook evenly.
  8. Check the steak for desired doneness using a thermometer.
  9. Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Serve hot with rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.

Notes

  • Cut steak cubes evenly so they cook at the same speed.
  • Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor and tenderness.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes before grilling.
  • Do not overcrowd the skewers to allow proper heat circulation.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes after grilling to retain juices.
