Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops (1-inch thick, boneless or bone-in)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium optional)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear pork chops for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, melt butter in the same pan, and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Add honey and soy sauce to the skillet, stirring to combine and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return pork chops to the pan, spooning the sauce over them.
  7. Cook for another 3–4 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  8. Remove from heat, let rest for 2–3 minutes, and serve with extra sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
  • Do not overcook pork; use a thermometer for accuracy.
  • Thicker chops stay juicier than thin cuts.
  • Garnish with parsley or sesame seeds for presentation.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
