Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
  • 2 oz tequila (blanco or silver)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur (triple sec)
  • 13 slices jalapeño
  • 12 tsp agave syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: salt or chili powder for rim

Instructions

  1. Blend watermelon until smooth and strain if desired.
  2. Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip in salt or chili powder.
  3. Muddle jalapeño slices in a shaker.
  4. Add watermelon juice, tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur.
  5. Shake well until chilled.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness with agave if needed.
  7. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
  8. Garnish with lime and jalapeño slices and serve.
