Ingredients
Scale
12 oz spaghetti
2 cups cooked shredded chicken breast
1 cup chicken sausage, sliced
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) cream-based soup or sauce
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup diced onions
1/2 cup diced bell peppers
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
In a large pan, heat olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft.
Add shredded chicken and sliced chicken sausage, stirring to combine.
Pour in the cream-based sauce and milk, then mix well.
Add half of the Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, stirring until melted.
Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and mix until fully coated.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Top with remaining cheese and bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Do not overcook the pasta before baking to avoid a mushy texture.
Add a splash of milk when reheating to keep it creamy.
Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
Cover with foil if the top browns too quickly.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
