6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
Instructions
In a saucepan, heat sugar and corn syrup over medium heat until it begins to bubble around the edges.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
Place cereal in a large bowl and pour peanut butter mixture over it.
Gently mix until evenly coated.
Press mixture into a greased 9×13-inch pan.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together until smooth.
Spread melted topping over the cereal layer evenly.
