1 cup lemon-lime soda or ginger ale
2–3 tablespoons grenadine syrup
1–2 scoops vanilla ice cream
2–3 maraschino cherries
Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
Chill a tall glass in the freezer for a few minutes before preparing.
Add ice cubes to the glass if desired.
Pour lemon-lime soda or ginger ale into the glass until two-thirds full.
Slowly add grenadine syrup and let it settle at the bottom.
Gently place one or two scoops of vanilla ice cream on top.
Allow the foam to rise naturally without overfilling.
Garnish with maraschino cherries and serve immediately.
Notes
Always add ice cream last to prevent overflow.
Use chilled soda for better fizz and taste.
