Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1/2 frozen banana (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 12 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar (to taste)
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Remove frozen strawberries from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for 2–3 minutes to soften slightly.
  2. Add the frozen strawberries, plant-based milk, frozen banana (if using), maple syrup, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender or food processor.
  3. Blend on low speed, then gradually increase to high, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  4. Continue blending until the mixture becomes thick, smooth, and creamy, similar to soft-serve ice cream.
  5. If the mixture is too thick, add plant-based milk one tablespoon at a time and blend again.
  6. Scoop or pipe the Strawberry Dole Whip into bowls or cups and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fully frozen fruit to achieve the best soft-serve texture.
  • Avoid adding too much liquid, as it can make the Dole Whip runny.
  • For a firmer texture, freeze the blended mixture for 15–20 minutes before serving.
  • Strawberry Dole Whip is best enjoyed fresh but can be frozen and re-blended.
