A foamy green witches brew punch made with lime sherbet, pineapple juice, fresh lime and lemon-lime soda, finished with gummy worms. Alcohol-free and ready in 10 minutes.
1½ quarts (6 cups) lime sherbet, slightly softened
1 can (46 oz) pineapple juice, chilled
1 bottle (2 liters) lemon-lime soda, chilled
¼ cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
2 to 4 drops green food coloring (optional)
Ice ring: 2 cups pineapple juice
Ice ring: 1 cup water
Ice ring: 1 lime, thinly sliced
Toppings: 1 cup gummy worms (about 20)
Toppings: 1 lime, cut into wheels
The night before, pour 2 cups pineapple juice and 1 cup water into a Bundt pan, add the lime slices, and freeze until solid, at least 6 hours.
Scoop about two-thirds of the lime sherbet into a large punch bowl.
Pour in the chilled pineapple juice and lime juice. Add food coloring if using.
Slowly pour the lemon-lime soda down the inside of the bowl to build a thick foam.
Dip the Bundt pan in warm water for 10 seconds, unmold the ice ring, and slide it into the punch.
Float the remaining sherbet on top, hang gummy worms over the rim, and serve immediately.
Serve within 2 hours for the best foam.
Hang gummy worms on the rim so they stay chewy.
Most sherbet contains milk; use lime sorbet for a dairy-free version.
For adults 21+, add 1 oz vodka or coconut rum per cup, never to the kids’ bowl.
If using dry ice, use food-grade only, handle with gloves, keep it in the bowl only, and never let anyone swallow a piece.
