Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 23 tablespoons milk (as needed)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and pudding mix. Mix until smooth and thick, adding a little milk if needed.
  2. Press the mixture evenly into a parchment-lined square baking dish to form the base layer.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter, stirring constantly until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the vanilla base and spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for 3–4 hours or until fully set.
  7. Lift from the pan, cut into squares, and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Do not overheat the chocolate to avoid a grainy texture.
  • Use parchment paper for easy removal and clean cuts.
  • Allow enough chilling time for best consistency.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Freeze for up to 2 months for longer storage.
